 Rehearsals
Orchestral and chamber music rehearsals take place weekly on Saturdays. Occasional, full-weekend workshops for our two senior orchestras offer intensive further study. Sectional rehearsals for different instruments within the orchestras are scheduled regularly.
Saturday morning rehearsals usually take place at Kwantlen Park Secondary School (10441-132 St., Surrey, B.C.).
The Surrey Youth Orchestra rehearsals are from 9:30 am until 12 noon, while the
Intermediate Strings rehearse from 10:00 am until 12 noon and the
Junior Strings rehearsals are from 9:30 am until 11:00 am. Chamber Music rehearsals take place on Saturday mornings or early afternoon for 30 min (Junior ensemble) or 1 hour (Senior ensemble).
