are generally held twice each year, in May and in early
September. Individual auditions can be arranged at other
times during the year, as well.
There are limited openings for our
September 11th, 2010 auditions: for the Youth Orchestra,
the flute and clarinet sections have been filled. Openings are still available for oboe, bassoon, French Horn, trumpet, trombone and tuba sections.
There are openings in all 3 orchestras for violins, violas, cellos and bass.
Our auditions for the 2011/2012 season are scheduled for May 28th, 2011. Contact
us for an audition appointment.

ü play a piece of music about 1 page long of their own
choice, unaccompanied

ü sight read several lines of music given to them at the audition
Each audition lasts approximately
10 minutes.
